Message	It may have just been installed by a previous owner... Or contact the company & serial # on it and ask them if anybody is still paying for the service as it's your car now. Either way I'd remove it, that means that some has/can have access to where you are and habits you may have like leaving the car unattended at certain times of they day for certain lengths of time predictably. I wouldn't want "just anyone" to know that much.
